Communicate your expertise with confidence — even when the pressure is on.

Communication coaching for global professionals who use English at work and want to speak with clarity, confidence and authority in high-stakes moments

You know what you want to say. So why does it disappear when you need it most?

You’re experienced.
You’re knowledgeable.
You’ve succeeded in your career.

But then:

  • You enter a high-stakes meeting and your mind goes blank.

  • You over-explain because you’re trying to make sure you’re understood.

  • You speak faster than you want to.

  • You leave conversations thinking, “That wasn’t how I wanted to express myself.”

This isn't simply an English problem.

It's what happens when pressure changes how you access and communicate your expertise.

Your English isn't the problem

Most professionals I work with already have strong English skills.

The challenge is being able to access those skills when:

  • the stakes are high

  • decisions need to be made

  • you are communicating complex ideas

  • you feel evaluated

At Leading in English, we look beyond language.

We explore what happens in your brain under pressure and build practical strategies that help you communicate with confidence in real workplace situations.

The Access Method

For global professionals who...

✓ communicate complex ideas in English
✓ work across cultures and teams
✓ need to influence, present or collaborate
✓ are tired of feeling less capable than they know they are

Our Services

About Me

I founded Leading In English to address a challenge I repeatedly observed: highly capable professionals often have the expertise, preparation, and knowledge they need — but struggle to access and communicate that expertise when pressure rises.

Through The Access Method, I help global professionals understand their communication pressure patterns, recognise what is happening cognitively in high-stakes moments, and develop practical strategies to communicate complex ideas with greater clarity.

My work focuses on the moments where communication matters most:
• Client conversations
• High-stakes meetings
• Presentations
• Stakeholder discussions
• Unexpected questions and challenges

I've seen this from both sides — as someone who's learned a second language myself, and worked across a background spanning healthcare, higher education, and bilingual teaching in Bogotá. I stay closely connected to the research on what's happening in the brain under pressure, and I'm currently learning further studies in neuroscience to deepen that further.

That's the work I do now: helping global professionals access the expertise they already have, exactly when it matters most.

How it works

1. Book a call

A short conversation to understand what's happening for you and whether this is the right fit.

2. Choose your path

T he Audit for immediate clarity and tools, or the Intensive for deeper, lasting change.

3. Do the work

Understand your specific pressure response, build the tools, practice them in real scenarios.

4. Show up differently

Walk into meetings, presentations, and stakeholder conversations able to access your expertise when it counts.
